Rachel Lonetti

With over 10 years of teaching experience,  Rachel Lonetti approaches instruction with the desire to refine the innate musicality everyone is born with. An avid lover of several different genres of music, she desires to spread her passion of the art through teaching it to others. Rachel is currently a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), MMTA (Minnesota Music Teachers Association) and The Suzuki Association of the Americas. Mrs. Lonetti has studied piano and pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, under both Phyllis Lehrer and Ingrid Clarfield. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Music under Dr. Roger McVey at UW-River Falls. As an educator constantly refining her teaching expertise, Rachel holds teaching certifications in Musikgarten and Suzuki education, and is an endorsed MMTA judge. She has also been the recipient of professional grants from MMTA, MTNA, and the Suzuki Association of California.

 Rachel has performed in prestigious concert venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Princeton University Chapel, and Orchestra Hall. As a chorus member of the Minnesota Chorale (the principal chorus of the Minnesota Orchestra), Rachel has performed under the baton of world-renown conductors such as Osmo Vanska and Andrew Litton. An active member of her church, Rachel utilizes her musicianship in worship services at her home church Beacon of Hope. Rachel currently resides in New Richmond with her husband Joseph, and children Charlotte, Dominic, and Madelynn.
